Healthier Greenwich Partnership Public Forum Previous Meeting

This Public Forum was the seventh in the series and the topic was Tackling Cancer Together- What do you think.  Dr Caroline Hollington, Macmillan GP and Cancer Lead for Greenwich will introduced Cancer prevalence and screening uptake in Greenwich, followed by group discussions.

This event was the sixth Healthier Greenwich Partnership (HGP) Public Forum. The conversation was around Have your say: What does a healthy neighbourhood mean to you.

This event was the fifth Healthier Greenwich Partnership (HGP) Public Forum. The conversation was around Musculoskeletal (MSK) services in Greenwich.

The Public Forum included a discussion about the importance of physical activity. Steve Whiteman (Director of Public Health and Wellbeing, Royal Borough of Greenwich) introduced Getting Greenwich Active and physical activity in the borough. This was followed by a general discussion on how we can improve physical activity levels and help reduce health inequalities in the borough. You can read the report here.

The second Healthier Greenwich Partnership Public Forum (HGPF) took place on Tuesday 10 January 2023 at Woolwich Common Community Centre. It was a hybrid event.

Eltham Community Hospital - September 22

The first Healthier Greenwich Partnership Public Forum took place on Wednesday 21 September 2022 at the Woolwich Centre. It was a hybrid event, and it was well attended both in person and online. Read our report from the first Public Forum.

The Public Forum included an introduction to the Healthier Greenwich Partnership, a discussion focused on proposals for changes to services provided at Eltham Community Hospital and a general discussion on health and care.
