Have your say on Lambeth Carers Strategy
Consultation has concluded
Lambeth is refreshing its Carers Strategy
Lambeth health and care partners want families and carers in Lambeth to feel recognised, valued and included as equal partners in the support and care of the person they care for. And equally, for families and carers to have full, enjoyable and confident lives in their own right alongside their caring role.
A new Carers Strategy for Lambeth is needed to take account of changes in conditions affecting carers since the first Lambeth Carers Strategy was developed in 2017. These include the increase in the number of people caring for family, friends or neighbours on a long term basis, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and challenges that carers are facing currently, such as the cost of living crisis. Your views will be important to help develop this strategy so it works to support carers in Lambeth.
Lambeth Council is managing this consultation. Lambeth Council and Carers’ Hub Lambeth are inviting local carers, community members and professionals to share their views, insights and ideas, to make a real difference to the lives of carers in our borough.
The consultation is open from 22 September to 6 November 2022.
