In Our Health, Our Lambeth, Lambeth Together's five-year health and care plan, we commit to making sure that older adults get the right health and care support at the right time, live healthy and active later lives and are supported to age well.

Help us make Lambeth a better place to grow older and tackle the challenges that lead to poorer health and wellbeing in older age.

Share your views on what Lambeth is like as a place to grow older, and your ideas to make Lambeth a better place to age well for all our residents.

Lambeth Council is leading this work. They are working with engagement specialists at Kaizen to hear from residents, local groups and anyone interested in making Lambeth an age friendly borough where all residents are respected and included and are able to lead good later lives.

As members of the UK Network of Age-Friendly Communities, Lambeth Council will work together with other Lambeth Together partners, such as Age UK Lambeth, the NHS and residents, to develop a local approach to becoming an age-friendly borough. This will build on the World Health Organisation’s Age Friendly Cities framework. Focusing on the key areas of community life that help to support ageing well, Lambeth Council and partners will seek to create social and built environments that promote healthy and active later lives for all residents.

We are all committed to listening to and working with our older residents to identify our priorities for Age Friendly Lambeth and developing a plan in partnership for addressing barriers to ageing well and ensuring all residents have the support that they need to continue to call Lambeth home. This is why your views and input are so important.
