Consultation has concluded
Public Health teams in Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham, in partnership with You Are Loved CIC, are running a new study to better understand drug use in the LGBTQ+ community in the UK.
The study aims to explore:
which drugs are used most often
the contexts and environments in which they are used
the language people use to describe those contexts
attitudes towards different types of drugs
experiences of accessing information and support
They want to hear from LGBTQ+ people and men who have sex with men (MSM) who are aged 18+ and have used at least one drug in the past 12 months. All responses are anonymous and confidential.
Taking part involves completing an online survey that takes around 15 minutes. Your feedback will help shape awareness campaigns, harm-reduction strategies and support services that meet the needs of the community.
If at any point you feel affected by the questions, free confidential support is available from organisations such as Antidote (London Friend), Controlling Chemsex, Switchboard, Samaritans and SurvivorsUK.
