Staff are working hard, but many people still find it difficult to get the right care when they need it.On 12 September, Lord Darzi published an independent review of the NHS. It aimed to start an open conversation about the state of our health and service and the change we need. The review showed the scale of the challenge. People find it hard to get appointments, can have long waits and we need to focus more on preventing people from getting ill.That is why the NHS England together with Department of Health and Social Care has launched <a href="https://change.nhs.uk/en-GB/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Change NHS: help build a health service fit for the future</a>. This is a national conversation to listen to your views and ideas to inform the development of the national 10-Year Health Plan.We know change is needed. But we also know that many of the solutions we need are already here, working somewhere in the NHS today.
