South East London Sickle Cell Enhanced Community Care Pilot Parent / Carer Survey

Do you care for a child who has sickle cell?

The South East London Enhanced Community Care pilot for sickle cell launched in 2024. All three main treatment centres in the area have access to existing specialist sickle psychology services.

The pilot programme is an opportunity to identify any gaps in the psychological care you and your family receive and to develop ways to address these.

Please take a few moments to answer the questions below to help us to identify where you feel there are gaps and share your ideas about what may be helpful.

1.

Do you feel there is enough psychological support around living with sickle cell available to you outside of clinic?
