A community led panel will decide how best to use £95,000 from Partnership Southwark and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) to support community groups to tackle health inequalities in Southwark’s Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities.
The panel members are representatives of BAME led organisations in the borough and have developed and co-designed the funding programme using their collective expertise.
The new fund is aimed at supporting the distinct needs of their communities and grants are available to applicant groups who work to elevate health and wellbeing and build trust in the borough. You can find out more information about the panel and the criteria on the Community Southwark website.
The fund launches on Wednesday 10 January 2024 and the closing date is Wednesday 28 February 2024, midnight.
Successful applicants will need to attend a session to co-produce an impact reporting plan.
