King’s College Hospital is inviting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, along with their families and carers, to share their thoughts on the support information that accompanies a hospital stay.
The team would like to understand what patients need before, during and after a stay in hospital, and how they can make this experience clearer and more supportive.
By taking part, participants can: • Share their experiences to help shape resources that prepare people for a hospital stay • Help improve information on what to expect during time in hospital • Contribute ideas on what patients need to feel ready to go home and look after their health
Event dates: • Wednesday 29 April, 2pm to 3.30pm on Microsoft Teams, held as part of Experience of Care Week • Thursday 7 May, 2pm to 3.30pm on Microsoft Teams • Thursday 21 May, 2pm to 3.30pm on Microsoft Teams
