The South East London Integrated Care System provides a great opportunity for all partner organisations including the voluntary and community sector to work together with local people and communities to make a significant difference to health and care for you, your family and your community.
Following extensive discussions with local people, including service users and carers, and staff across south east London and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) that took place in 2022 we published our vision and priorities for transforming health and care for the people living in south east London in February 2023.
The priorities focus on helping people stay healthy and well, delivering more joined-up, convenient care, and better supporting people from marginalised communities. You can read our vision and priorities here. You can read insight from people and communities that informed their development here.
We held further webinars in September and October 2023 and you can read the presentation here. In these webinars we updated you on the focus of our strategic priority areas, discussed with you the outcomes we want to achieve, what you want done differently in these areas, what is important to you, your family and networks and we highlighted activity that is already taking place in these areas.
You can find out more details and insight from the group discussions held during the two webinars here.
These strategic priorities have been developed by South East London’s Integrated Care Partnership, which brings together the elected leaders of six local authorities: Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark with other health and care leaders, Healthwatch and the voluntary and community sector.
The development of the strategic priorities were discussed at the South East London Integrated Care Partnership meeting on 26 October 2023. You can read the paper which sets out the actions to deliver the priority areas by clicking on the link to the ICP papers here (enclosure D page 22 onwards).
