Consultation has concluded
King’s College Hospital, South East London Cancer Alliance, OUTpatients and Lambeth Links are collaborating to host two focus groups at the Health Foundry in Waterloo. The aim of these focus groups is to hear from local LGBTIQ+ communities about your perceptions and knowledge of breast screening and any recommendations for improving the service.
The focus groups will be happening in the evening of the 15 and 20 February 2024. Details and links to the Eventbrite signup are here: LGBTQI+ focus group sign up.
What's it about?
The organisers would like to understand how being LGBTIQ+ may affect people's experiences of breast cancer screening, and what the local NHS Cancer Alliance can do to improve the service for people in south east London.
These focus groups will take place in person at The Health Foundry in Waterloo and last for approximately 90 minutes. You don't need to prepare for the session. Refreshments will be provided and you'll be compensated for your time.
How do I get involved?
There will be two evening sessions. You only need to attend one. Please register your interest through Eventbrite on the date(s) you are able to attend:
